Happy New Year

Hi Guys,

Only a matter of hours before 2008 and I will celebrate it in quiet with the love of my life (no not a bag of dollars you cynics) the lovely Wendy. San Diego doesn't have a special square or site like Time or Red Square where people meet in large crowds to cheer in the new year. We either go to parties or spend time with friends. Wendy and I will go to a quiet stretch of beach near the city with a bottle of Champagne and some potato chips. Very romantic. I will be spending a great deal more time in the new year telling you about the delights of my home town and the immortal Padres. So keep looking me up. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Rossi Knows All

Hi again,

I went to San Diego Zoo today for my annual visit and to blow away the Christmas cobwebs. It sure was fun and very good for the mind. It's not often enough that we get to see such a rich variety of Gods creatures. Got to say how impressed I was by the large number of guys wearing Padres T-shirts. Fly the flag.

San Diego Padres Baseball Team

San Diego isn't just the best city in America it also has the best baseball team. Sure, we don't have the trophies of some of the other guys but we have got the passion, the fans and the fun.

I have rooted for the San Diego Padres since I was a kid and have seen all the greats pitch and bat. I hope to let you all know a lot about the guys over the next few weeks and maybe make you feel the same way - wherever you live.

Hi

I've decided to start my new year early with a blog about my life and interests. I've had a great Christmas and I am looking forward to celebrating with friends at 'the Del' (the famous Del Coronado hotel in San Deigo).

I've just been surfing the net for ideas to buy a present for my girlfriend and I have just found a pretty cool site that sells lingerie and swimwear - it's called Mio Destino. They seem to have a pretty generous sale on at the moment. Between that and an hour on Amazon I'm all puckered out. I'll write some more when I can.

I'm a great fan of the San Diego Padres baseball team.
